Mission
Our goal at Pagan Edge is to provide readers a high quality, timely magazine (online, print on demand) with content relevant to modern pagans’ lifestyle and passions.
- Our publication is a lifestyle magazine so while we may publish spells, rituals, and some magick how-to; we aim to focus on ways that pagans, wiccans, earth-based-spiritualists, and those of like mind can incorporate their values and beliefs into their everyday living.
Call for Content
Pagan Edge is calling for writers that wish to go beyond Pagan 101 and write passionate content about adult life as a Pagan. If you are interested in this concept please submit a writing sample 300 words or less as well as a brief bio and a list of topics you would be willing to write about or contribute to that are relevant to the pagan lifestyle. You have full control over on if you use your given name, pen name, photo or avatar. Artists (visual media) are required to submit samples of work. None of these samples will be used for publication; however because of the nature of the media we will not be returning any samples.
If the match is good for both of us, then we will discuss forming a partnership with you.
We are in need of regular columns to be published on a monthly basis as well as feature articles that may concern seasonal items, current events, or flow with the theme of that month’s magazine.
We have some initial themes for each month that are ticklers for your submission to Pagan Edge. Given the nature of some columns, these themes will remain as guidance.
Future themes will be:
- January, cleansing (Cleaning House Issue – mental house, spiritual house, physical living spaces (neat, minimal, green?)
- February, love (Challenges, How to deal with the negative, bringing good into your life in a positive manner)
- March, beginnings (Everything form new life {birth}, jobs, outlooks, wardrobe, etc.)
- April, living greener (gardening, lifestyle, outdoors, green energy, green alternatives)
Our Offer
As a grass roots project, we currently are not paying contributors for their work. We offer exposure, experience, and something great to put into your resume and hopefully your references. We are also offering advertising on “trade” for contributors, including free graphic ad design as part of the package. Ads will be featured in the online edition, print edition (when published), and the website.
